As a social enterprise, Bicycle Links tries to go beyond the usual bike shop activities. We want to include and involve members of the community – that’s residents and businesses in our street, local cyclists, interested Norfolk people, council officers who are promoting cycling, organisations working to reduce inequality and improve health and wellbeing.. it’s a long list.
Our core activity of running the shop keeps the doors open and the lights on. Beyond that, the possibilities are limitless.
- We try to win funding for social impact projects;
- We’re open to requests, offers and suggestions, and meet them where we can;
- We welcome volunteers;
- Donations of bicycles are always helpful;
- Financial donations are equally welcome
- Partnerships with businesses and organisations can be immensely fruitful.
If you work for a business and wish to donate abandoned bikes, or set up a scheme to encourage staff to cycle, or have an idea for your Corporate Social Responsibility, then please email us at email@example.com
If you’d like to volunteer as an individual we have forms available on this website, see our volunteer page.
If you work for an organisation and would like to discuss a joint project or a need that your service users have, then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org Most projects, supported volunteering or work experience placements will require funding, however we have experience of grant applications and are willing to work with you to explore funding options.
